Masaala dosa

Soak urud dal and rice separately for 2 hours.
Grind them separately and mix together with maida and salt. Keep it
to ferment for 6 to 7 hours or overnight.
Cut potato, onion, ginger, green chilli and cook
with 3 cups of water. Add turmeric, curry leaves and salt. Cook till
the water is completely dried. Mix well. Season it with mustard and
curry leaves.
Now in a dosa pan rub ghee and pour ½ cup of
fermented batter and spread it with a spoon in to a very thin dosa.
Pour ½ teaspoon ghee on top of the dosa. Now put one table spoon
of potato mix on the center of the dosa and fold both sides on it.
Fry for ½ a minute more and serve.( do not turn over the dosa.) |
